Hello all, Not sure if this is a bug or if there is something else to it but my Ranger has Loremaster and a Identify Glass, when I use the glass on a Unidentified weapon that states: Requires Loremaster 1 and Identify glass, the identify progress bar shows up goes till the end then nothin. The Auto Identify mod is a QoL mod that will automatically identify all items at Loremaster 5+ eliminating the need for an Identifying Glass and time spent identifying items. Unidentified items sold to Loremaster 5+ traders will also be identified. Free Pet Pal The Free Pet Pal mod gives every party member the pet mal talent. Right click on the identify glass, left click on the unidentified item, and wait for the progress bar to start, then double click on the item again. A few seconds later it should say in the combat log that the item has been identified. The Loremaster is a Quest in Divinity: Original Sin II.Cranley Huwbert, the famous author of the Huwbert series of books, is in Arx. Can you best him in a test of knowledge? Note: This quest is not listed in your journal, but is straightforward and gives good rewards. Not giving the player any idea why they can't identify items with Loremaster is not. That's not 'letting the player discover for themself', that's just needlessly confusing them. By all means, make them have to find an Identifying Glass for themselves, but the player should at least know that they need one, and that the skill is not broken.

The easiest way is to get an NPC to do it for you. Certain important NPCs like blacksmiths have a magnifying glass icon to the bottom right of their trade window.
